My inaugural solo exhibition, "Drawing Perseverance – Hi K, I’ve got this," graciously supported by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, unveils a visual narrative that deeply resonates with the struggles inherent in life.
By adopting the perspective of K, the 'bungirl' central to the illustrations, the exhibition acts as a reflective surface, capturing and echoing our collective experiences. K, a shorthand for 'okay,' symbolizes strength, resilience, and the bravery to confront life's challenges head-on.
Each illustration stands as a poignant reminder that within us lies an intrinsic strength capable of navigating through life's storms. The exhibition encourages open dialogues about mental health, urging individuals to acknowledge their struggles and seek support when needed.
The exhibition remains accessible to the public until May 1, 2024, inviting everyone to immerse themselves in a celebration of creativity, resilience, and the unwavering belief that, irrespective of circumstances, there's always space for hope.
